The Hochkoenig region is the perfect place for Mountain Biking, with stable warm weather, blue sky’s and fresh clean air .

Due to the shape of the mountains many of the high peaks are accessible via mountain bikes and a wide range of terrain is available to suit all needs. There is even a dedicated down hill terrain park as featured on Sky TV for any of you crazy people out there.


	There is easy access to endless rides straight from the door as well a variety of ski lifts leading to some excellent down hill and single track. Guided rides are available on request for all abilities, plus local maps showing many of the best rides.


	Plus just down the road we have ‘Bike World’ a purpose built down hill and free ride park with everything from single track to purpose build jumps and bump. This park puts Whistlers ‘A-Line’ to shame. A must for every keen biker!

‘BIKE WORLD’ A whole mountain for Bikers !!!

On the 14th of May, 2005 the Bike Park opened again. The tracks are not only for Downhill- and FreeRide -Freaks - but the Bike Park is also for newcomers, and families.

You can also get help from the Bike-Guides. They give tips and tricks, and provide you with safety information for the tracks. They also will show you extensive trips to the most beautiful places.

Plus there is an an exercise course for Greenhorns and a Dirt-Jump-area for our experienced Bikers

A whole world for Mountain Bikers !!!



	We have a long mountain biking season starting in early May to the end of October plus there are lot’s of other activates available if you want a rest day ( Golf, Glacier Skiing all year round, mountain climbing, Rafting, walking etc).



We can arrange bike rental or bring your own, we have plenty of locked bike storage avaliable. There is more than enough routes to keep even the most keen happy for a couple of weeks, plus the added benefit of our great pool to cool off in after a long days ride. We can also arrange group holidays where we can arrange for larger groups from a club or region or race training camps etc.



		This is just a fraction of the Mountain Bike trails, but gives you a taste of what is available. This area was used for the 2002 World Mountain Bike Championship, the World Cup Down hill in 2003 and the World Mountain Bike Games!
